Acquisitions
Together with its parent investment firm, Petrus Partners Ltd., Crown West controls a series of discretionary private equity investment funds and institutional joint ventures, and has a 25-year track record of successful acquisitions of office, flex, multifamily, and industrial properties as well as land for warehouse and residential development projects. The Petrus-Crown West Group’s specialty is “value-added” investments involving properties in need of redevelopment, repositioning, or restructuring. Through its Crown West Farm Group, Petrus also invests in dryland and irrigated farmland and water rights. Our active funds and direct investments total $500 million in invested equity.
Consideration will be given to:
1. Industrial, flex and office properties of at least 100,000 square feet;
2. Residential and industrial land investments of 100 developable acres or more; and
3. U.S. farmland of 500 acres or more.
For commercial properties and land development investments, of particular interest today are higher growth markets in the south and west including: Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Reno, Denver, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Atlanta, Houston, and the U.S. Gulf Coast.
