Crown West Realty Breaks Ground on First Building at Loxley Logistics Center in Baldwin County
Loxley, Ala. – Crown West Realty (“Crown West”), a national real estate investment, development, and management firm, is pleased to announce that it has officially broken ground on the first building at Loxley Logistics Center, a master-planned Class A industrial park located on 200 acres in Loxley, Alabama. This next phase of the project—a 162,000 SF cross-docked building—is projected to deliver in Q4 2026 and is primed to meet the projected growth in Baldwin County.

This milestone marks the latest step in Crown West’s continued investment in the greater Baldwin County market. Building on deep roots and decades of relationships in the Gulf Coast, Crown West entered the market in December 2021 with the purchase of an 8-building, 1 million SF portfolio. That purchase was followed in May 2025 with the acquisition of Willis Logistics Center, a two-building complex totaling nearly 200,000 SF, in Theodore, AL. Today, Crown West owns and manages nearly 1.5 million square feet on both sides of Mobile Bay, making it one of the largest industrial landlords in the region.
Loxley Logistics Center will provide best-in-class industrial warehouse space to meet the region’s growing demand from industrial users looking to locate in one of the Southeast’s most strategically positioned and business-friendly locations. As evidence of that demand, Crown West recently sold 57 acres in Loxley Logistics Center to Butting USA for its North American headquarters and first US production facility.

“We love the story in Baldwin County,” said Brett Sanders, Vice President of Asset Management. “We like the access and the growth available here. We appreciate the support of local civic and economic leaders. Companies are seeing what we already know: this part of the Gulf Coast is a great location for industrial tenants–whether they’re focused on distribution or manufacturing. We’re proud to be building the Class A industrial space they need to succeed.”
“Crown West Realty’s continued investment in Baldwin County is a strong vote of confidence in the strength and momentum of our regional economy,” said Lee Lawson. “Loxley Logistics Center will be a vital asset for companies looking to grow and succeed along the Gulf Coast. We’re proud to partner with Crown West as they help us meet the rising demand for Class A industrial space and bring new opportunities to our community.”
