SPOKANE – Jeffrey Enterprises Inc. has opened a Granite Transformations franchise outlet in the Spokane Business & Industrial Park, in Spokane Valley. Granite Transformations outlets fabricate and install granite-composite countertops.

Jeffrey Enterprises, which does business as Granite Transformations of Spokane, is owned jointly by Mark and Lynee Jeffrey, of Hauser, Idaho, and Tony and Jolee Conver, owners of the Granite Transformations franchise in Seattle. The Jeffreys will operate the outlet here.

Granite Transformations fabricates and installs 1/4th-inch thick granite-composite surfaces over existing countertops, says Lynee Jeffrey.

The engineered stone, which is stain, scratch, and heat resistant, is 95 percent granite and 5 percent polymer sealant, she says.

The franchise here, which is operated in 5,600 square feet of leased space in the park, at 3808 N. Sullivan, has five employees and serves the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas, she says.

Chase Breckner, of Crown West Realty LLC, handled the lease of the new outlet’s location.

Miami-based Granite Transformations has more than 100 franchise operations in the U.S. The company also has operations in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
